June was a busy month for GoDaddy.

First, the company started redacting Whois information for all customers worldwide. This change could significantly impact its revenue, but it is trying to cross-sell another product to limit the losses.

Second, the company announced layoffs. While its business is doing fine during the Covid crisis, its outbound sales and do-it-for-me social media products are struggling. So it's reorganizing outbound sales into one office in Arizona and closing its offices in Austin and laying off hundreds.

I'll give credit to the company for offering very nice exit packages to its employees.
