to merge.

Although talks had already been going on for a little while, it
was obvious that merger discussions were serious when US
Airways registered domains related to a combined airline --
all the way back in March 2012:

This is just one example of when a company's business plans
were tipped off from domain registrations.

Domain registrations tipped me off that Amazon was getting into
the R&D supply business a month before it was announced:
